PicSeek Technical FAQs

Why do some images not support preview?

This can happen for a few reasons. The most common one is that the web server hosting the image does not allow it to be loaded or displayed on other websites. If that’s the case, PicSeek won't be able to show the image in the preview window. However, you’ll most likely still be able to download the image via PicSeek. If downloading also fails, try saving the image manually.

Why do some images fail to download?

Some websites block tools like PicSeek fr om downloading individual images, or the download may fail due to network issues. In such cases, you can try downloading the image manually: right-click the image and sel ect "Save Image As...", or click the Retry button next to the failed image in the Recent Downloads window.

Why can't PicSeek download images fr om a specific website?

Some websites use special anti-download techniques that differ fr om standard ones, making it harder for PicSeek to download images. If you come across a website that isn’t supported, please let us know. We’ll investigate and update PicSeek to support it where possible.

Why are some images missing fr om the ZIP file?

When downloading images as a ZIP file, some images might not be included. This can happen if the website blocks PicSeek fr om accessing certain images or if there are network issues during the download. Try downloading the missing images individually. If that still doesn't work, feel free to contact us for support.
